Las Terrenas Neighborhoods: Where to Buy for Your Plans
Las Terrenas stretches along the north coast of the Samaná peninsula: west of the center, Las Ballenas, Playa Bonita and Cosón are quieter and residential; to the east lie Punta Popy and El Portillo; behind the town, the hills along the El Limón road offer sea views. The right area depends on how you will use the property: living year-round, a second home or renting it out.

Living in Las Terrenas: Healthcare, Schools, Internet and Power
Las Terrenas is a small coastal town in Samaná province, about 30 minutes from El Catey airport. You can live there year-round, but services are those of a small town: everyday healthcare locally and specialists often in Santo Domingo, internet and electricity that must be checked address by address, and a water tank and backup power recommended.
