What should you ask before booking?

Are you an owner who wants to rent by the night?
Check your condo bylaws first. In 2026 the Ministry of Tourism put a draft mandatory registry of short-term rentals (RENATUR) out for public consultation; according to the specialist press, it withdrew the draft on 20 July 2026 to open a dialogue with the sector. As far as we know, no such obligation is in force as of the date of this page, but the issue may come back.
